Located on the southern edge of Sedgefield, west of Myoli Beach, the property offers a tranquil setting designed for a retirement lifestyle centred on comfort, care, and environmental harmony. The project has received key approvals, including the amendment of the Environmental Authorisation by the National Department of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment in April 2022, and rezoning approval by the Knysna Municipality in August 2024.
The Sandpiper Retirement Resort will feature a range of residential options to suit different needs, including assisted living studio apartments, three-bedroom, two-bedroom, and one-bedroom apartments. In addition to the residential units, the development will include dining and recreational facilities, as well as administrative and support services such as nurses’ stations, a gym, a reception area, and backup infrastructure.
