The Swan Lake Eco-Estate is a low density development located in Aston Bay near Jeffreys Bay. The development will aim to create a lifestyle that enhances the relationship between man and nature while preserving and protecting endangered fauna and flora species on the site. The total site area is 38.5 ha, but the development footprint will be limited to approximately 11 ha or 30 % of the site.
The development has a long history but has never been implemented. Recent changes in the market and a growing need for lifestyle retreats have encouraged the developer to proceed with the long-awaited development of the eco-estate. A comprehensive planning application was submitted to the Kouga Municipality in 2021 and was approved in August 2022. Phase 1 will be launched soon!
